Oliver Anthony

Oliver has been a member of our team since 2023, initially joining as an intern and quickly demonstrating a prowess in Ruby on Rails that led to a full-time role as Software Engineer. With a keen focus on creating robust full-stack applications, Oliver excels in building Ruby on Rails apps, or using Rails alongside frontend JavaScript frameworks like React. Oliver has made significant contributions not only to client projects but also to internal tools and projects at Renuo.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Leeds, Oliver transitioned from a finance background — a career which provided a strong foundation for logical thinking and being a reliable team player — to tech via the Web Development bootcamp at Le Wagon.

Outside the office, Oliver likes to keep fit despite retiring from football due to one too many injuries, by working out in the early hours, taking the dog Larry for long walks or cycling around the forests of Lucerne. Keeping fit is also important to balance out his other main hobby, which is cooking and eating (but mostly eating) and includes trying foods from different cultures. Originally from England, he brings a touch of English character to our team.
